We are pleased to announce that we now have a subscription to EBSCO's E-Book Religion Collection. This gives us full access to electronic versions of over 5,000 recent titles. To access the collection make sure that you are logged in to your library account. When you are logged in you can access the collection by hovering over the “Databases” tab at the top of the page, and then selecting “E-Book Religion Collection” from the drop down menu. If you have any trouble accessing or searching the collection please contact the staff in any of our libraries or send an email to alison.jantz@usask.ca

The ISSR Collection is now available for borrowing to all STU library patrons. This collection was awarded to St. Andrew's College by the International Society for Science & Religion (ISSR), and contains 250 central texts in the field of science & religion. St. Andrew's is one of only three libraries in Canada and 150 worldwide to receive this prestigious award. Click here to browse the ISSR in our catalogue.

Saskatoon Theological Union
The purpose of Saskatoon Theological Union Libraries is to provide and promote library and information resources in support of the missions and goals of the colleges which form STU. STU Libraries confirm their commitment to the importance of information literacy in all library plans, policies, and activities.
Saskatoon Theological Union (STU) Libraries have combined resources to operate as a unified system. STU Libraries collections consist of over 100,000 monographs and 200 journal subscriptions. Through a joint collection development policy, each library collects in several specialized subject areas, embracing a wide range of theological topics. Each also maintains a general collection of books and periodicals to meet the needs of courses offered by its College. All currently registered STU students, faculty, and staff as well as members of the public are eligible to borrow material from any STU library.
The H. E. Sellers Library of the College of Emmanuel and St. Chad has 21,000 volumes and receives 50 periodicals. Areas of concentration include the liturgical tradition and the history and tradition of Anglicanism.
Horizon College's A C Schindel Library has 21,000 volumes and receives 31 periodicals. Areas of concentration include Reformation theology (particularly the writings of John Wesley) and the history and tradition of Pentecostalism.
The Otto Olson Memorial Library of the Lutheran Theological Seminary contains 45,000 volumes and receives 60 periodicals. Biblical studies, Near Eastern Christianity, and the Reformation (particularly Luther’s work) are significant strengths.
St. Andrew’s College Library has 37,000 volumes and receives 90 periodicals. It has extensive holdings on the Reformed churches and traditions and on Canadian church history with special emphasis on the prairie context. It has developed a particularly strong collection in the areas of liberation theology, feminist theology and current social issues.
Access to the University of Saskatchewan Library is available to STU students, faculty, and staff. The U of S Library has a strong theological collection within its 3,500,000 volumes, plus general and subject-specific databases. STU students, faculty and staff who are travelling may also request in-person access to the library collections of almost all Canadian academic libraries and many academic libraries in the United States.
